Under the Copyright law, the applicant who has submitted his / her original under the Copyright Law, the applicant shall be protected of being piracy / duplicate / mis-using / taking advantage of his / her original work.
After the submission of Original Work by the applicant at Copyright Office, the applicant will received Diary Number Receipt in which date of submission is mentioned. The date of submission is proof that you are Original Applicant of your Original Work.
Under Copyright law, the applicant can claim for his/her original work if the original work has been published in any newspaper or magazine which is also registered under R N I (Registrar of Newspaper of India) or has been produced at relevant place where the date is been mentioned. Many people thinks that using emails, or social media website or blogs or website will also work as same, but under Copyright law, the applicant will not able to protect his/her original work.
Copyright provide the proof of ownership of original work. Patent provide exclusive monopoly ownership of his work of invention. Design or Trademark provide exclusive owner his Trade name or Brand name or Tag-Line. If person holds Copyright of work for commercial purpose and same work is been registered under Trademark, in such case, the date of submission of his/her work shall be taken as priority.
